Projects and tasks in Socialligator

Use projects to organize execution work

Projects are a central place to bring together execution work, tasks, marketing assets, funnels, and customer context. Tasks are part of Socialligator’s action system and can be linked to projects.

Use the Projects area in the dashboard to work with projects, and Tasks to manage your actions. The exact steps and available project fields may vary by workspace setup. [Confirm: project and task creation steps]

Capture tasks from the browser extension

The Socialligator Chrome extension can capture a task while you browse. You can create one from the side panel’s Page view, send selected text to Socialligator as a task using the selection toolbar, or use the browser’s right-click menu to create a task.

1. Open the page or select the text you want to follow up on.
2. Choose the task capture option in the side panel, selection toolbar, or right-click menu.

The extension may queue captures while offline for later processing. Connect the extension to your workspace to use its Socialligator features.
